Welcome bags for hotel....
What are you putting the items IN? I was thinking a small wicker basket but they get expensive. What about gift bags, think its tacky? What are you doing? I got the items to go in...just need the stuff to put them in : P

I orderd a quantity of small gift bags from PaperMart (www.papermart.com) and they worked great. We filled them with some clear 'easter grass' and colored tissue and put all the goodies inside. I used a Victorian floral for my April wedding - I have enough left over that I'm all set for gift wrapping for a long time to come too. :-)

I used baskets. Since I had about a yr and a half of planning time b4 the wedding I had time to save up baskets, hit garage sales, etc. Also, sept is a good time to pick up baskets at stores like Odd Job, National Liquidators, etc since the holiday of Purim falls in SEpt. (It is a jewish holiday- kinda like holloween- and people give each other baskets that they filled with treats, fruit, candy, fancy teas, etc) I put together about 14 baskets for my guests: put in trial size toothpaste, travel size toothbrush, hairspray, a bottle of water, packs of gum, small pkg of nuts, m&ms, and if the guest had children with them I put in a little toy. Good luck!

OOH!
I got the cutest boxes called 'gable boxes'. They're kind of like Dunkin Donut Munchkin boxes. I got burgundy ones (my color) - they're perfect and only 80 cents each!! Now, if I can only find the website... I'll pass it along!

Bags
I bought plain brown paper bags with the twine handles at a craft shop. I got a rubber stamp of a wedding cake and I used that -- colored it in with markers, and got a stencil to write 'Welcome' and our names and 'Wedding Weekend'. I really like make the stuff personable. So if you have the time it's a fun way to do it. Althought it's taking me a long time to get through them all :-)Welcome New Vendors
