They had really cute rubber stamps of a bride & groom and ones with cute sayings like 'and they lived happily ever after...' at Kate's paper. You could get plain white bags and stamp them with the picture.

That's a cute idea! I like it. I guess I was looking for an easy way out!! Order on-line and call it a day

Check out the thread endlessluv started today called 'Good Stuff' - looks like she ordered bags similar to what you're looking for.

That's actually where I got the idea - those were so cute! But they seemed to be more geared toward the bridal party than the average out-of-town guest.

Maybe the place she ordered from has other bags that are more what you are looking for?

This website has wrapping paper that you can make out of your pic, name, date, etc. I know it is not giftbags, but it is still pretty cool Pic Paper

Exclusively Weddings.com has these and I think you can have them personalized.

Re: Welcome bags for hotel guests

I went to Michael's craft store and bought small gift bags. They had really cute hole punchers that made a wedding cake design which I used for the personalized scrolls. I attached the scroll to the handle of the bag. Inside the scroll (letter), I wrote a note to each guest. It had time reminders (bus pick up for church, etc.) and things to do while on LI. I made personalized lables for each bag and placed them on the front of the bag.Inside we put candy, crackers, water, soda, gum, mints, Tylenol, and other assorted goodies. They went over real well with the guests who traveled on the LIE! With the help of my BM it only took us around 3 hours to complete (including a trip to Costco). Have fun with it, and get creative, your guests will LOVE them.
