Take a break from “wedding stuff” every once in a while (including this site ~ it can be very addictive) remember, everyone has different opinions – but they one that counts in the end – is your own!! LOL! You guys are awesome...

So... kind of disappointing this morning... we met with a BM last week that showed us around their venue and we pretty much fell in love with it. She told us that she was able to do a courtesy hold for one week and then would need a deposit to further hold the date for us. Well I called her today and asked her if she could kindly put the date on hold and that we're planning on making our final decision Saturday and she blatantly lied to me and said their company does not do courtesy holds and that she would need our deposit for it...

How does that make any sense? Have any of you experienced something like that yet?

It just really got me down this morning especially since the FH's and my heart were both set on it

Welcome...I personally have never heard of a curosity hold. I have heard of people that did not have the full deposit putting something down that held the date

Yeah not ever place that we've been to said that they do that, but this one definitely did... Haha we take notes while we're there :P

It's okay though, we're both very much in the mind set that 'everything happens for a reason' so i'm sure it'll all work out just fine :)
