Well I want with my MOH to pick up her dress last night at lynbrook bridal!

First let me say that when they all went to get measured they tried making all of my girls get bigger sizes. Which ment more money. They all said no My moh was like that is way to big (the size they were ordering) but they told her thats what size she needed. So they ordered it. She normal wears a size 14 they ordered her a size 20W. Then she lost 35 pounds. She went 2 weeks ago for her fitting. They wound up making her dress A size 12!!!!!!!!! Yesterday she had to go pick up the dress her appt. was at 3:30 we get there and the lady was like I can't find ure dress. My wedding is on SATURDAY! she goes back and comes back and says oh they have it on the machine???? Her first fitting was 2 weeks ago. Come back in 20 mins. So we went to the mall went back in about an hour she puts on the dress and it looks like CRAP. So I start going no I don't like this. this or this. The lady goes I fix don't worry. I was like don't worry the wedding is saturday and the dress never should have been ordered 10 sizes to big! She then says something to my MOH I didnt hear what she said all I heard was MOH say how about shes the bride and she has to approve it!!!!! The woman said you have to come back tonight at 8. So that was 3 trips there in one day! When we got into the car I asked her what she said. The woman said' What you had to bring you lawyer' I was in shock. She said it about me. Is this ***** kidding me!

NO she didnt but you better find yours you worthless piece of crap!

ARGH that sorta service (or lack of it) is a BIG pet peeve for me!

OMG! What a *****!?!

Did you finally get the dress right? Do you have to go back again? If so, can you cancel it and go somewhere esle, even though its late in the game?

WOW...I am surpirsed...I am a Lynbrook Bridal bride myself, and they have been nothing but angels for me...I have Rica and have worked with her since Nov '03, I forget the seamstress, she is Latin but my dress is gorgeous, I've had 2 fittings and my last one is next month.....I'm sorry you went thru this....good luck anyway.

Sorry girls I have been a mad woman today! i had to pick my friend up from the airport who flew in from vegs. We went back at 8 and the dress was better then it was before but not prfect we just took it though. Rica was the woman that helped us when we went in December to pick out th dress and she was a bit*h She was like rushing us and saying how she hasnt eaten dinner yet. When we went back the latin lady helped us and she was the one that made the comment about me being her lawyer. After she said how bout shes the bride and she has to approve it that lady was all nice but an idiot. She was like oh where is the reception I said the Swan Club and she was like oh another girl is getting married there a black girl as a matter of fact! Like what does ones color have todo with anything. She annoyed me when she said that too. They are just all rude and snotty in there.

That is also suprising to me b/c they have been great w/ me.

They made my girls order sizes a little bigger too but the alterations were capped at $40 so sucks for them if they have to do extra work.

I do agree that Rica can be a little over the top sometimes I just try to ignore her.

From the very beginning they knew I meant business though. I am very nice w/ them but also very stern.

See them having to do extra alterations really didn't bother me. Except that the dress doesn't hang right. And yeah the alterations being capped at 40.00 is ok but.... they had to pay an extra 40.00 for the bigger size dress which they made into a size 12 anyway!
