I have been trying to come up with the 'cutest' idea for my Save-the-dates. I found a great idea, and it turns out to be sooooooo much more $ than I wanted to spend. (Of course, like everything I want for this wedding)
So, how much did you spend on your save-the-dates? Where did you get them? And, can I see them, please!
Thank you.

Re: Well I'm upset
Ah, I know the feeling well....
We got our STDs from Candy Wrapper Store and the prices are right there on the website.
Ours were scratch off ones( the car one in the middle)
We loved theses, thought they were dumb but everyone loved them...we got them online for $79 for 50... I think they were Carlson craft, we searched online till we found the cheapest price, got them in like 7-10 days..
i ordered our caricature online...i just put it in a few days ago, but they're working on it now...
i asked to have us as a bride and groom running on the beach and i'm going to put on there 'we're taking the plunge!'
not sure if i'm doing magnets yet or not.

Re: Well I'm upset
It was pictures of us as kids transformed onto a bride & groom body. It was going to be a greeting card with a message on the inside. It was alot of work and a one time art fee of $150.

Re: Well I'm upset
We made ours very easily and pretty cheap! We bought magnetic paper at Staples... 4 sheets for $10... We used a print shop program to design them (we chose a business card template so we got 10 magnets per sheet) and just printed them out! I would attach a pic but my laptop is in the shop and I don't have one on this PC :(

Re: Well I'm upset
I ordered jumbo postcards from paperdirect.com and printed them ourselves. They read: As Autumn leaves turn their brilliant hue, two hearts will join and say I do... Please save the date to celebrate the marriage uniting Bridget XXXX and Michael XXX on October 29th, 2004. Formal invitation to follow
All travel arrangements and hotel info was on the back.
