Well isn't this a bummer?

Of all the pieces of paper to get lost, no one can find my long term disability insurance papers.

Soooooo....until everything gets filled out again, I don't get paid.



On the bright side, the HR chick emailed me everything already filled out, so all I have to do is bring it to the doctor's office for the doctor to sign and the office manager said she'll fax it over to my company directly instead of sending it to me to send to work.

Luckily, I'm living with mom and dad so I don't have to worry about rent, utilities or food. It's just an annoyance

yeah, like I said..it's more an annoyance than anything else. The HR rep even said, 'I'm really sorry cause I'm sure the last thing you want to be doing right now is chasing paperwork.'

But at least now I can claim poverty and have FH treat for everything!

i'm sure that *****, but its great that you have a supportive family and FH. im sure those papers will be found and everything will be speedy!

I'm in what I call my 'down cycle'. They pump me up with so many pre-meds before I even get the chemo, then I get the chemo, then I'm on this whole slew of drugs for 4 days afterwards and then on the 5th day I have to stop everything all at once. Talk about WITHDRAWAL!!!!!



But I just take it easy for the next 2 or 3 days and by the weekend I'll start perking up again -- just in time for TWOTY!!!!!

I work in insurance and this happens all the time- unfortunately. But, do you have a copy? Did you fed ex it? See if you can somehow trace it and if you can't- make sure you send it with tracking info next time. Good luck. I hope it turns up for you!
