well ladies, the time has now come and it's time for me to permanently say goodbye

to my wedding gown!

i just tried it on one last time and walked around a bit. now i'm trying to take down all 20+ bustle ties before i mail it off to wedclean tomorrow with my veils.

i could cry.

bye bye pretty dress....see you in a box in a few weeks!

It's such a shame that you love it so much and only get to wear it for a few hours! I can't even think about it.

OMG Carol....I don't think I can ever clean my gown now...I feel like I am going to cry over yours...You were so gorgeous

OMG mine is hanging right next to me and I am having such a hard time parting with it as well...it is so hard to believe that I only got to wear it once and that I will never get to wear it again...I totally understand your pain

that was the hardest thing i've ever done....literally!

getting that poofy dress into a little dress bag and box is not easy!

this darn thing is taking me an hour because i just don't want to seal the box!

Oooooooooh, I thought something terrible happened that you were leaving us!!

I feel your pain tho, I just can't bring myself to preserve my dress yet. I need to try it on just one more time!! It's such a shame, such beautiful dresses that we spend so much $$ on and can only wear for one day; it just doesn't make sense!!!!

Carol, you scared me, don't do that again!!!

I guess I am in the minority here, but I feel no attachment to my dress at all. I am not even sure why because I am usually so sentimental about these things. I don't know what to do with my dress, I am considering giving it to a charity.
