I went looking for & tried on dresses for the first time tonight at David's. So much fun!!! I found 3 that I really really loved... one was totally what I've always wanted and the other two were totally not what I would ever choose but looked amazing! Here are the links... Sounds like you had fun. There is no time frame. You can go whenever u want. My favorite is #2.

I mean purchase... is it ever too early to purchase? I'm worried that in two years I won't like it, but then (playing devil's advocate), if I'm in love with it now, I'll be in love with it forever. The dresses I'm tending to choose are kinda timeless.... there I go again, answering my own questions... debating in my own head!!!
ps...FYI... #1 & #3 have trains, #2 doesn't...

if you arent 100% sure yet, shop around a bit! try other shops besides davids and keep in mind that a lot of brides have had big problems with davids alteration dept, so you might want to consider where you want to have alts done if you buy from them. i decided on my dress 1 year before my wedding (i shopped around but i kept going back to my dress) and i tried not to look through bridal magazines after that so i wouldnt second guess myself. good luck!

Congrats! i recommended her-she is GREAT! I went yesterday again and found my dress-I think! It to is something I never, ever thought I would select!

Yeah, I would never EVER get my alterations done @ David's... NEVER! Truthfully, I'm not really a fan of that place to begin with but the dresses I tried on I loved.... thanks for the advice though
