We will be 100% as of April Fools Day when we close.
It was the third house we looked at last tuesday, then looked at about 8 more then went back left our bid and our earnest deposit. The bid was accepted that night this was last monday. On wednesday we met with the builder it is his spec house to add a few things like garage door opener, pick out appliances and we locked in our bid.
So, we arrived monday night, looked at homes tuesday and by friday was already in contract and heading back to Texas to pack up!
It's been crazy! The movers are coming the 29th and then Dh and I are heading back to Florida to close and get our keys! Unfortunatly, the USAF is sending him away on the 5th so it will just be me, the dog and cat in a brand new home waiting for him to get back.
But we are so excitied!
It's 1/2 and acre and over 2,000 square feet 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, formal dining room, eat in kitchen, great room, 2 car garage with a sink and workshop in it, laundry room, sprinkler system all for under 200,000 and the subdivision we live in charges a 16 a month homeowners association fee to use there three pools, free childcare, gym, boat ramp.. etc
the other pictures are the backyard from our property line, great room and EIK and my garden tub (lol) The master bath has the tub, 2 person shower, his and her vanities across the room from each other with a little room with just the toliet!
I'm moving in August to Palm Bay/Sebastian Inlet/Melbourne area. Were having our house built as well through Holiday Home Builders.. It's a 4 bedroom 3 bath house - very similar to yours!!! The house is actually in Palm Bay which is on the east coast...
Dana, we looked into a holiday home (they were actually one of our top picks) but we needed a house that was almost completed so we went with a Dolphin Custom Home. Best of luck with your new home!

Re: We'll we are 99% florida homeowners
Laurie--- Best of luck with your new house! it looks gorgeous-- and all that property!
Dana-- my grandparents live in Palm Bay during the winter! They've been there since the 70's. That's a great area and it just keeps growing and growing and growing! We try and get down there every year to visit- and there's always something new. We usually hang at Indiatlantic beach. We love Sebastian or take the ride to Cocoa.

Hey Cheryl -
Palm Bay is so beautiful, the whole area is!! My FH grandparents live in Barefoot Bay, and my FIL have a vacation home there as well. My FIL's are going to sell their house on LI and sell the one in Barefoot Bay and then have one built in the same community as us in Palm Bay. I'm going to Florida for Easter to finalize everything w/ the builders.. I cant wait to eat/drink at Captain Hiram's, and it's warm enough to rent jetski's, so we may do that too. Sebastian Inlet is so gorgeous!! I love it there!! .... and how about those homes in Indian Harbour Beach.. UNBELIEVABLE!! I could just drive around that area all day.. I LOVE IT!!
The whole area from Cocoa Beach to Vero Beach is growing so fast, and YOUNG communities are popping up all over the place..
Once I'm officially moved in, I'll send you a FM and then next time your visiting we should touch base and go for some lobster at CH's!!
