FH and I just came back from booking our hall! We moved the date, and got a MUCH better price. We started at Friday 7/21/06 $80pp, not getting all the things we wanted. Now, it's Thurs 6/29/06 with everything we wanted plus a few extras for $59pp!!!
That day is a Thursday, which is the Thur before July 4, which is that nect Tues. So, only day people would need to take off (if they wanted) was Friday, and have a possibly extra long weekend. At ym job, I'll have Monday the 3rd off.
We looked into Monday July 3, but that was $70pp and still would need to add a few things to make it the way we wanted it.
I am still a little scared of the Thursday thing, but hey, $$$$ was the BIGGEST issue and we didn't want to budge from the time of year.
SO, it's going to be Jericho Terrace, Thursday June 29, 2006!!!
YEAH!!!
Oh and after the large deposit and 1 more payment by April 05, half the reception will already to be paid for!!!!

Congrats!!! We're getting married on a Sunday night....so no differance from Thursday night....( well in regards to people having work the next morning) cause they would have work the next day for a sunday also

Congrats! I went to Jericho Terrace for a charity event two years ago, and it was wonderful! Great cocktail hour, and the waiters were terrific- very attentive and accomodating.

Our BM is Mike, but my FH's best friend is good friends with Tino (another BM) who is assisting! YEAH!!! Still glowing with happiness!!

Thanks! I actually have my first appt with a NON-hall vendor next week. I have an appt with Pedestals on Wed. I am so excited. Still can't decide on the color scheme yet. It's between Tiffany/Aqua Blue or Pink (like Fuschia but not too bright).
