I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but a while ago I mentioned that our lease was up on our wedding day. Of course that was a problem. So, since we don't like where we're living now, I got us out of our lease, and we're moving this weekend. We're moving into a brand new 2BR/2BA apartment with an alarm, and 1300sf for $756/month. Not bad. I could never afford to rent an apartment on LI again, so that's why I'm glad we moved to NC. Most things are cheaper. Some things aren't. But my rent and insurance definitely are. Anyway, I guess I should start packing considering I'm moving in 4 days. I always wait until the last minute. :)

Well, we`re moving again...
Congrats Melissa! My FH and I are looking to buy or rent (I think we might be too poor to buy) in Maryland and I, too would never be able to afford paying rent on LI. Thank goodness for the cheaper southern states! I'm glad to hear you took care of the living situation.

Where in NC do you live??
My husband got a transfer to Charlotte. He is moving there next week--and I will be going too---once we sell our house here in Atlanta. It is kinda crazy---my husband has his own apartment in Charlotte!!
I am a little sad--that we are gonna be apart during the week for as long as it takes to sell the house--I hope it sells soon!!
We don't know anyone in Charlotte so I am nervous!!! And too much about it---any info would great!!
