WELL we went to get our marriage license....

We went there and they needed 2 forms of idea. I only had my License so I had to go across the hall and get my Birth Certificate. I went by what LIW said that it was going to be 25.00 We got there and it cost 40.00 But hey we got it.

Did you HAVE to have your birth certificate? Or just two forms of ID? I have been arguing with my FI about this, since his mom has it *somewhere* in Kansas, and she's a bit flighty when it comes to getting things to us. But, he has a passport and a license, so I hope that is acceptable.

that is acceptable I didnt know u needed 2 forms I only had my license. I have my birth certificate at home but I didnt bring it with me.

I looked up the necessary info online and I read (not here) that we needed 2 forms of ID and it is $40.

Thats what I should have done. I couldnt find it so I went by this website.
