Well....My V-day is ruined....

DH has to fly to NY for a Dr appt for his lawsuit. It ios one of the final things so at least it should be ending REALLY soon.

But...I'll be alone for V-day.... Our first married V-day and our 3 year anniversary as a couple

nope...even with the great airfare, we can't afford for both of us to go.....we can barely afford for him to go

I know from previous posts that v-day is a hard day for your DH anyway ....

Why not have an early V-day celebration?! You'll get a great restaurant, then you can come home...light some candles, eat some chocolate...do some BDing hehehehe

Have a mock Vday - it'll be wonderful, and he'll appreciate your efforts in putting it together.

awww im sorry!you should come out here! do you think your Dh can bring you?maybe you both can spend valentimes day after he is done with what he has to do you both can go out and celebrate.

DH and I are celebrating on the 20th, it is a sunday but the following day is pres day so we both have off. Monday night vday kind of suc%s, I would like to have a couple of drinks

I'm sorry- we've been there lately too- it really stinks.

Maybe celebrate the day ahead of time or after? Make it EXTRA special.

Sorry about your V-day!

We will be flying home late that day from Florida, so we are probably not going to celebrate.. We will probably do something the night before.

Poor dear.

Would it make you feel any better if I told you that the moving company is coming that day to pack up all our stuff, and we'll (read: I'll) be spending the entire night cleaning our apartment?

It's just an arbitrary day (unless you're catholic, which I know you aren't). Pick a different day to do something special! (You'll have less trouble getting into a good restaurant!)

I'm sorry to hear that. I have to work day and night on V-day, so I won't get to celebrate either.

I agree with the other ladies. Celebrate on another day. Make a new holiday!

Valentines Day can be ANY day of the year! It's what you guys make of it! Celebrate another day - either before or after. I know it stinks because it's not THE day, but try not to think of it like that.
