OMG I am sooo lucky have gone to go to Wendy's wedding! First of all, it was beautiful. The day was gorgeous and Wendy was the sweetest bride. SHe really took the time out to talk to everyone and see all her guests. She was soooo pretty, she looked like the bride barbie doll! When I walked into flowerfield, my FI turned to me and said 'I think this place is better than our place, I really like it!' It is just so impressive. The coy swimming under the bridge, the palms, everything. Then the ceremony was so gorgeous. The colors she chose for the flowers that decorated the gazebo and the bo-ks... I loved the swans swimming around and the geese walking on the other side. Dom walks in looking nervous with his guys, and then Wendy comes down a bit later and WOW. Beautiful dress, combined with a beautiful bride. Oh and I have to mention the string quartet she had! She was winking at him, rubbing his hand, so cute! After teh ceremony was cocktail. THe food was delish! My FI loved the meat and immediately upon walking in the waiters are giving out cosmos and martinis. She also had a piano player and singer. He played Billy Joel which FI and I love too. He thought the woman sounded great when she did the Chicago song. I'll let Wendy review the rest. I just wanted to do what she didn't really see. Congratulations to the both of them. Thank you for sharing with us Beth. We love the gazeebo idea. I'm glad it didn't rain that day and ruin it. I know a little rain is good luck though. I had been waiting for Wendy's wedding for a while since I learned she was getting married at Flowerfield also. When I learned how they had her surprise party there I was taken aback, as I had not heard of a reception hall doing something like that and extending themselves out like that. Wendy has always had time or found time to help those who have asked her advice or help and I'm glad she has had her day made so special.
