So... my mom and i went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place sat and, to say the least, i wasn't impressed with their service.
I explained to the woman what i wanted and even brought in pictures. She looked at the budget i wrote and said that i'm looking at $4000 for a dress for that style. My mom said to get some dresses for me anyway so i can try them on (since we were already there). The woman got an annoyed look on her face and brought me a few dresses, all were mermaid style. I tried them on but told her that i wasn't interested in that style. So she came back and brought me more mermaid style. this process went on for about another 10 minutes until the women said, well, i have nothing else to show you. Maybe you should go over to the 5th ave store.'
she was just rude, came in the dresses room with me but just handed me the dress. Didn't help me in it or anything.
Now, on the other hand, i went to lillettes sat after that and they were great and very helpful and i know have another 2 dresses that i like lol.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I can't understand why someone would purposely not help a bride on such an important decision I had a great experience at Lillette's too! Glad you have some options

Ugh, sorry you went through that. I just don't understand the attitude from some of these places. Don't they realize that by giving you an attitude, they not only lost your business, but also your BM's, mother's and probably FMIL's business too?????
I didn't have a very good experience at the one in Massapequa, and because of that, I refuse to go there for my BM dresses, mom, or FMIL.
Glad you had a good experience at Lillette's though....are you working with Geri?

hmm.. i actually don't remember the name of the women i worked with. She was about 5'4, skinny, about 50, pretty, dark hair, tan umm.. yeah. There was also a blond lady there helping a little too.

Ugh I'm sorry you had a bad experience....I always hear mixed reviews about them. So far my experience has been excellent. At least you had a good experience at Lilettes. Good luck!

You might have been working with Geri....but she's definitely not 5'4'. She's more like my height.....4'11'. But she's really sweet, dark redish hair, and a very pretty face. Regardless, I have nothing but nice things to say about the people at Lillette's so far.

When my friend was getting married and looking for a dress, we had a bad experience at the Carle Place store as well.
First off, my friend CLEARLY stated that she didn't want to spend any more than $3000 and they took at that to mean $3000 and UP. Nothing they showed her was less than $3500. Also, there was a trunk show for Yolanda couture the day we went and they were pushing Yolanda on my friend and trying to convince her to get a custom made dress by Yolanda. It was very annoying and my friend, wanting to be as nice as possible, asked them to hold onto the notes for a few days while she talked everything over with her mother. We went to the Massapequa store a few days later and the woman who helped us (I want to say Jeri, but I'm not sure - it was about 5 years ago) was VERY accommodating and sweet. We found a dress right away and it was well within her price range.

Oh man!! lol. yea i had left around 1230pm.. lol.. I totally agree about the customer service there btw..

i think it all depends on who you work with at any salon...i've read mix reviews on every single bridal salon on here. it seems like you need to get certain salespeople at certain stores....kind of stinks you have to request someone, you would think that each store has 100% nice people working for them but not the case in most.

when i went to bridal reflections, the lady was really nice but she kept bringing dresses over my budget! whats so hard about this?!?!?
