Went for my first fitting last night! UPDATE - It's DONE!

And I'm so glad that minimal work needs to be done.... if I had a bigger set up top, then nothing would need to be done but the bustle!

It really looks pretty when it's all pinned and put together the way it's supposed to fit - I can't wait til it's all done.

I brought my dress to a local woman who was referred by another girl here on LIW. Her name is Rita and she lives in Islip Terrace. She is VERY SWEET and honest about the look. I was originally going to wear a petticoat, but after she pinned the top of the dress and gave me a full length mirror to see the dress in, we (my, Rita and my grandma) decided that it wasn't needed and the dress was full enough. I'm glad, cause I needed to get it fixed cause it was a bit too big and I kept stepping on it! Also, it's much cooler without the extra layers.

So, so far, so good. Oh! And the price is perfect also. FM me if anyone wants more detailed information!

She's the only one I considered!!! I didn't get any other recommendations that impressed me as much as the one I got for Rita, so I took the chance and I'm glad I did.

Well, her dress had to be altered too, so it worked out well for both of us... and she was so impressed by the way she looked with the dress pinned!!! She loved that she was able to see me in my dress before almost anyone else

Hi girls... I picked up my dress last night and it looks awesome!!!!! She tucked in the bust of the dress (my girls are on the small side lol) and did my bustle... it looks so pretty!!!

And yes, I did take pics, but have to upload them to the puter... I'll try to do that after work...

So to recap... dropped off my dress on April 6, got a call April 10 that it was done and picked it up April 13.... and for a price you just can't beat.
