... but David's Bridal in Lake Grove forgot to let the dress OUT!!! They did all the other alterations except that! So the dress still would not zip up! It was written on the ticket and everything, so they totally admitted it was their fault. SO ANNOYING! I have to go back Aug 7 now for the *real* final fitting. Sheesh!!!

Aw, I'm sorry, that totally stinks. But now you get another day to try on your dress before the wedding.

I didn't take pics b/c I literally had the dress on not even 5 minutes! I will take pics next week I promise

I don't think I ever got her name... but the lady who did them originally wasn't the same lady who was there last night to get my snotty attitude for their mistake LOL

Awww I'm sorry it wasn't perfect. At least you still have time and it isn't the week of your wedding.
I'm going for my 1st fitting on 8/7 so i'll be thinking of you.

I am sorry they messed up, but I will tell you this, you just made me feel so much better knowing that I am not alone, my dress didn't zip up last thurs (first fitting), they gave me until aug. 24th to lose weight and go back for a second fitting and hopefully I will be better then.

At least you are doing this a lot earlier than me, so much more time.

I am sorry they messed up, but I will tell you this, you just made me feel so much better knowing that I am not alone, my dress didn't zip up last thurs (first fitting), they gave me until aug. 24th to lose weight and go back for a second fitting and hopefully I will be better then.

This happened to me too -- I was seriously upset. I hired a personal trainer. She's been kicking my butt!!!! She's confident I'll lose some inches before the wedding -- I hope she's right
