Went on a date tonite

Went on a date tonite

w/ my wonderful FI to celebrate our 'one year mark'. He took me to La Panchita in Smithtown and we both dressed nice and had a DATE!! It was so sweet. Then we went for coffee and just talked. He has moved back w/ his parents bc we were supposed to close on our place tomorrow and they are in Baldwin and im in Holbrook so he actually picked me up and dropped me off and all we did was kiss goodbye. We kept laughing like it wa a first date and he asked me to go out w/ him again tomorrow night- isnt that cute??? I cant wait- one year from tonite and I'll be MARRIED to him!!!!

That is so sweet and definitely a great tradition to start with you FI..something like that is what keeps a relationship fresh and exciting....

Sounds like you had a great time on your date. Definitely keeps the relationship exciting...and it's sooo sweet that you celebrated your one year away mark. That year will fly for you....now you have to really start counting down the days. You will see how fast they dwindle down!!

That is so sweet. FI and I also make a point of going on 'dates' every couple of weeks. We live together and sometimes we get so wrapped up in the day to day that it is nice to make a point of being together.

I love stories like that, FH's bday was tuesday and we had a date night.. it was cute I wrote in his card, next year he'll get his first happy bday husband card

that is so cute! It definately is great to keep the 'dating' aspect in your relationship even after you are married!

FH & I try to do it at least once a month! It keeps the romance alive!
