went shopping today! veils and shoes and bags, oh my! (with pics)
My mom and I went shopping today to pick up my veil from Barrons, and then to a dress shop to look at dresses for her. I am in LOVE with my veil (lol, so was the guy at Barrons, he kept going 'I love this veil. This veil is so beautiful... he seemed quite pleased with himself). Then, at the dress shop, I found this GORGEOUS pair of shoes, and these really great purses. I already had shoes, but these are much more special, and they're actually quite comfortable - surprisingly so, since heels and pointy toes don't usually work on my big, oversensitive feet.
So, pictures!
First, shoes.
These are the first shoes I bought. They're comfortable, low heels, and very cute, but you can see how the others are much more special. They were only like $40, and they're dyable (and therefore, easy to change to match another dress for another occasion), so I don't feel too bad about replacing them.

and these are the new shoes. They're Carlo Fellini's. They're a bit more than I like to spend on shoes, but nothing TOO crazy. They're silver so I can wear them again, and they're SO comfortable! And so sparkly!

Here's the bag. I really didn't like any of the while ones I found, and my dress has a sort of Victorian feel to it, and I loved the bag, so... here it is!

And, last, but certainly not least, the veil. I found it at Barrons with the edging, and then had them add the single crystals throughout the veil for a little sparkle.

and, just so you can see how it will all work, this is my dress. It's all over lace, no beading, so I like that I can add beading with my accessories.

and... that's a lot of pictures! enjoy!
