Went thrift store hunting with SIL today....and found a Kate Spade

how can I tell if it's real? The Kate Spade New York is 'stamped' into the 'leather' (if it's real or not, I don't know) near the bottom of the bag.....

Kate spade bags labels are sewn on as far as I know, the fakes usually have labels that are glued on...

this isn't even a label though...it's stamped into the leather (like Coach stamps theirs into the little keychain thingy)

China town had some kate spade bags stamped into the leather, they also had Gucci ones like that too, its like the words are imprinted INTO the leather. I dont think Kate Spade bags ( real ones) have that, most have regular labels.Im pretty sure!

I believer her leather bags are stamped...there should be a tag on the inside - and made either in Italy or the USA.

bring it to the kate spade counter at bloomingdales or a think there should be a store for her and ask them. im sure they could tell you for sure. i did that with my a fendi i bought off of ebay and it was actually real

If you want to really get a kate spade bag the sample sale is today through Sunday at the Metropolitan Pavillion..

Everything is usually 50% off. I ahve been going for years..
