Went to 2 weddings this weekend.
We went to 2 weddings this weekend - I'm exhausted, but it was fun. Thought you guys might like a quick review of each>
Sat night was at Woodbury Country Club. Cocktail hour was in the garden - amazing is the only word for it. Stunning setting, and fantastic food, Asian station, fajita station, Italian station, cheeses, fruits, seafood all with a beautiful presentation. Dinner was delicious and the staff extremely attentive. Band was the best I've ever seen, I think there name was Extreme.
Sunday Afternoon was at Atlantica in West Hampton Beach. This place was a little simpler than other wedding I've been too but this seemed very appropriate on the beach on a Sunday afternoon. 2 cocktail hour stations fruits/cheeses/salads and a raw bar with oysters, shrimp and muscles and more oysters and...well it was abundant and yummy. The room was so pretty and an ideal place for a beach themed wedding. The staff outdid themselves. All I had to do was look towards our waitress and she would bring a new drink or refill my coffee. Offered us seconds, and when she saw how excited I was about a chocolate covered strawberry she brought a whole plate. Much of the food was local grown and so fresh and delicious.
