- cake ... OMG the bakery that does the cakes is amazing and delicious..... $250-$300 for adding all these amazing jewels to the cake and the design on each layer ... 5 tier cake.... good price or crazy? - lighting - so the hall has added this AMAZING lighting system...i already have uplighting w/my dj ... the hall charges $1500 for the lighting - i know its $$$$$ but it looks great - tvs, projection screen - fh loved it (and he doesnt really love anything wedding related) to show our photo montage, live footage...omg i love it....
problem w/lighting and tvs is that i already booked the same svcs w/my dj.... do you guys think if we meet w/him and tell him that we rather use the rh's svcs maybe he will lower the price? or include alternatives?
- definetely doing bathroom baskets now...
for the cigar girls- anyone just getting cigars? no cigar roller? the bm had thsi cool idea of having the bartender offer them when the gents get a drink
ok i have a busy day today..but pls send some feedback on my new loca ideas

Im glad you had fun.,....thats y I cant go to those things Ill want EVERYTHING! lol
I am having a cigar roller during my ch hopefully it wil be nice out so we can have him outside he wasnt that expensive either

- cake ... is $250-$300 a lot to upgrade? is this average?or overpriced
- lighting - the hall offers a full package for $1500 for amazing lighting..good or no?
- anyone giving out cigars instead of getting a cigar roller? if so, how/where are you ordering from?

not sure about the cake my lighting sounds good, my hall wanted 1500 for uplighting only

I think the $ for the cake is definitely worth it...that doesn't seem like too much more money.
I also think you should stick with your DJ in terms of the lighting and stuff...it could get sticky if you try to downgrade your contract and then they show up and see all the stuff through your RH.

I don't know about the cake but if you can swing the uplighting I say go for it!! Lighting does a lot! Btw Naninas is amazing! I almost booked there too but my coworker just had hers their last year!

It goes by so fast, seriously...don't stress it. If it's in your budget, then do it, otherwise, don't over extend yourself.

Not sure about altering the contract with the DJ. However, if you still pay the contract price and they swap thing out, go for it. Cake...unsure about. I think you can use the cash towards other things.

i would definitly do the additions to the cake, but if u already have the same services with ur dj for lights id skip that.

a little cake bakery...the cutest name ever lol i will do a screen shot of the cake tomorrow and send it...bc i cant copy and save the pics from the site?!?!

i might do the cake wouldn't do the lighting if you already have it i think the cigar things a cute idea, but do you have a lot of people who will smoke?
