Went to a weddding at Gurney's....

this weekend & it was amazing! The views are just breathtaking, the food and service were amazing, and it is a unique place to get married.

We stayed overnight in an oceanfront view, and the view was just spectacular.

For those of you who are getting married there, great choice!

We went to Gurneys in June for an oceanfront wedding.

I have to say the ceremony was breathtaking! There is nothing like it & they do a really nice job of setting up, etc.

As for the cocktail hour & reception..thats another story. The servers were missing in action, then the food was cold, the drinks were watered down and the staff were unfriendly.

Gurneys needs to be updated quite a bit. We have been to a lot of 'exclusive' locations and what you are paying for at Gurneys is the view.

Hey, maybe things have changed since June. I was more impressed with the Montauk Yacht club.

I always thought that place was gorgeous...just quite pricey!!!

Hopefully I can at least be a guest there one day...
