went to a wedding

went to a wedding

.....so on Saturday I went to Jericho Terrace for a wedding. & some of you wanted to know how it went.

They place itself is beautiful. There was a lot of food; it looked good and tasted good. The Viennese hr was delicious! I guess overall everything was good.

The only bad thing I have to say about it is they were cheap with the alcohol. The bartender poured very little of it. I normally cant drink much but there i had a lot of drinks :) & just hit a buzz at the very end. Plus they quickly removed the wine from the tables (way before 12) and barely had any juice. My fh asked for soda like 3 minutes before 12 and they refused! They cleared everything out. Also my other friend asked for 8 shots and the bartender said no! *** lol. He said he can pour her a drink! The shots were for a group not her alone. They called the maitredee and he told the bartender to pour them the shots! u believe that?!!?!

A lot of places don't do shots. I understand why, but I think there should be a few that are done...

The 'NO SHOTS' policy was something new to us when we starting looking too. We are not big drinkers, but FH and his friends always do shots at weddings (most of our wedding have been in Manhattan or at temples on LI that don't have the rule) so we just assumed it was the norm but we learned that a lot of places on Long Island don't do it!

I'm having my wedding at a place that definitely doesn't mind and since most of our guests are coming from the city, they aren't driving home!
