Went to a wedding at Glen Island Harbor Club!
I was in a wedding there on Friday and it was awesome! Anyone having their reception there has nothing to worry about. My friend got married in a nearby church so I can’t tell what a ceremony might be like.
There were tons of places to take great pictures, the service was excellent, we had a server coming around to take drink orders and the glasses were never empty.
The cocktail hour was huge, there were so many things I didn’t get through half of it.
There was a big gap between the ceremony and reception time, and most of the guests were not from Westchester so guests inevitably wound up showing up early to the hall, like 45 minutes early in some cases, and they were so accommodating! They just opened the cocktail hour early! I’ve been to weddings at other places with the same situation, and have been made to wait around.
I don’t know who her DJ was but the dance floor was packed all night. My feet were killing me the next day.
Her florist was Arcadia and they did a great job. Everyone was commenting how beautiful the flowers were. The only thing is that they didn’t really get the flowers right for her bouquet, and it wound up looking a little tropical, but that was the only thing that went wrong the whole day!

Edited to add one more thing. She chose this dress from Jim Hjelm, and it was sooo flattering on every girl. I loved wearing it, and there were even 2 pregnant women in the BP and they looked stunning.
