Went to a wedding at Land's End last night
I went to a wedding at Land's End last night. It was very nice. There were about 275 people and the dance floor was packed. The bride was my elementary school best friend. She looked beautiful.
She used Sugar Magnolia for flowers and she had really elaborate high centerpieces with fall color flowers. They were beautiful!
She used Personal Touch for photography and video and all I can say was that I really felt that they got in the way a lot. I don't know how the pictures came out, but they are supposed to be up on their website tonight or tomorrow. I took some pictures, so once I go through them, I will post them.
I have no idea who they used for a DJ or for limos.
Land's End was really nice. The cocktail hour was great. The reception was very organized. I had pork tenderloin medallions in a Bourbon sauce that I didn' care for, but overall it was good.
My main complaint about the whole affair was that there were so many people and we were all crammed on the dance floor. FH and I tried to dance, but we didn't have much room. I know everyone has their own style affair, but knowing the bride and her family and hearing about the groom's family, I KNOW that they could have cut about 75 people who were business associates of the parents who really didn't NEED to be there. JMO
