went to a wedding at Leonards of Great Neck
we had a great time! the cocktail hour was great (especially considering we only caught the last 15 minutes do to traffic![]()
). PLENTY of yummy food and strong drinks!
the room they had was beautiful (on the third floor).
the appetizer was a bit different, some kind of biscut filled with mushrooms covered in a buttery gravy, but good. (my FH had a heart attack since he HATES mushrooms so I gladly ate his!) dinner was pretty good as well. i had the vegetarian meal of eggplant and FH had pork chop, both were yummy. the service was a little slow but our waitress was working hard.
the vienesse (spelling?) hour rocked! they opened up this mirrored wall and all the sweets were displayed. it was the best part!
this is the second wedding we've been to at Leonards (FH sister was the first) and i have to say this room was much brighter and more romantic than the first. if you like the touch of mirrors and fountains, glass and gold, the place is very beautiful! our taste is more simple, but we still enjoyed it! good luck any Leonards brides!
