Went to a wedding in the blizzard last night!!
It was such an amazing wedding!! Leaving the wedding was NOT as fun, the roads were terrible but it was such a fun, emotional, unique wedding, FH and I had such a great time.
I don't know who all their vendors were, but they had the reception at the Sand Castle in Franklin Square, and that place was really great. The waiters were so attentive and when they brought out the viennese it was this huge presentation and it was crazy. The place did such a great job. If anyone is getting married there, my favorite food they had was the pork, definitely don't skip it!
I'm not sure who all the rest of their vendors were, he told me most of them but I forgot, but Tommy Tunes was their DJ company and Frankie was the MC, they did such a great job. People were dancing the whole night, Frankie worked the crowd really well but wasn't in people's faces at all. They played great music and then the bride rapped 'Ice Ice Baby' in the middle of a big circle and Frankie danced with her, it was hilarious.
So yeah, for winter 2010 girls, you can have an amazing wedding where tons of people show up regardless of the weather!! My friend did tell me he got like 12 cancellations but out of about 225 people that's not bad considering. I think the weather made the night even more special. But man was it cold!! The coat check room was lined with ladies' Ugg boots in different styles lol.
