Went to a wedding last night at Cresthollow...

and it was amazing. The place was beautiful and the food was delicious. First came the salad, it was a caesar salad. I personally don't like it and I noticed a lot of people not eating eat, I think they should have given a more traditional garden salad but thats just my own opinion. then the main course... My FH had the filet mignon and I had chicken stufffed with spinach and mozzarella and everything was cooked just right. It was all delicious. Later we had vanilla ice cream that was covered in nuts and chocolate chips and whipped cream and that was heaven. Their wedding cake was chocolate cake with canoli filling, I am pretty sure they got it from Cresthollow and it was delicious also.

There were a few things I didn't like, one being that there was a prom going on the same exact time, it started and ended at the same times so it took a while to get to the valet and we waited a while to get our car at the end of the night because of all of the limos picking up the kids. Also the prom was in the room right next door to the reception and you could hear the rap music coming from their party all night long. The bathrooms are beautiful and there were 2 attendants in there but there were 2 times I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. The last thing that bothered me a little was that when we went up to the reception the bartenders came in the room with their carts (with all the alcohol) and one of the set himself up on the dancefloor so when people went to get drinks there were standing on the dancefloor and people who were dancing were pushed off to the other side.

All in all we had a great time. They used In The Mix DJ's and they were wonderful. Anyone having their wedding at Cresthollow has nothing to worry about. Here are a few pics from the night:

As for the salad...they give you about 3 choices...thats just what that bride chose...
but everything sounded pretty good....it's a shame about the prom though..

Besides being next door to the prom - and obviously seeing the other guest in the bathroom - was there any other conflict with the other parties? I had read on the board that someone said CHCC has keeping the parties seperate down to an art. Like making sure the other start times are staggered and making sure the brides don't run into each other. Did you find that there was too much else going on?
