Went to a wedding last night at Woodbury Country Club
I went to a wedding last night at the Woodbury Country Club. It was beautiful and the food was great! We had cocktail hour inside and then went upstairs for the reception. Since my FH is on his bachelor party I was alone. But, I still had a great time!
The food was great! The grounds are gorgeous. To be honest, my only complaint was that there were 2 bartenders and maybe 150 or so guests and there was always a line at the bar. I'm not sure that the wait staff take drink orders at the table but I was never asked.

Glad you had a good time!! I've heard so many great things about WCC - the grounds are beautiful! I've heard the bar complaint a few times for a few different RH's. I wonder if it's because they just don't expect people to drink that much?? I've also been to a wedding where I had to wait on lines to get drinks and took precious time out of dancing and enjoying the night! So weird!

No, it was my friend from work, andrea and bryan's wedding. But I did see a wedding outside! Maybe that was your friend!

Sooooo happy to hear this. I am getting married there next May. I LOVE it. We actually have our food tasting tomorrow. I am going to ask about the bar issues though b/c we have a big drinking crowd and I don't want lines. I'd rather a packed dance floor.

i was going to book my weding there, but i head they were knocking it down to build townhouses...does anyone know anything about this???

I have to say, I just got married there and people rave about the bar service. My friends said they had a new drink on their table before the old one was finished. Future brides have no worries!
