went to a wedding sat
first of all I have to remember NOT to look at the weather report, b/c all week it said rain sat afternoon and night, but it only rained in the morning and turned out to be a lovely day for the couple. The wedding was in Fishkill, so I won't comment on the venders, but something that I think everyone should do is pad your invitation time. Unfortunately (FIs fault - not mine) we were 15 min late and I was hoping that they would start a little late and they didn't. We missed most of the ceremony...we were told that it started at 3:03...We were not the only late ones either. Other than that I had a great time and only knew the groom and one other guest besides my FI and didn't want to leave. The centerpieces were great...they were a fall/autumn wreath around a pillar candle. It was really nice - I have seen a lot of people on the board talking about similar centerpieces. Everyone said they have never seen the groom happier...good luck to everyone.
