Went to a wedding this weekend at Med Manor...Mini Review
It was FH's cousin and I barely knew anyone. But their officiant was Pastor April and she was wonderful. It really was a beautiful ceremony. I didn't even know the couple that well and I was crying. She truly does have a way with words. FH saw April in the parking lot and got her card. We are definitely going to look into her.
The Mediterrranean Manor was nice. The cocktail hour wasn't all that great though. There wasn't that much hot food...just a stir fry and 2 carvings. I was a little disappointed with that. The room was very pretty...she actually had fake flowers for her centerpieces, which I had never seen before. They were nice. The food at dinner was good. I loved the salad, the pasta was okay. I got the chicken franchaise. The sauce was good, but the chicken was a little overcooked.
They had a chocolate foutain and that was my favorite part.
They used Madison Avenue Studios as their photog...i can't really say much about the photog, but she was very nice to us when I asked the name of her company and she was not intrusive at all. The DJ was good too, they used Step Lively. It was a daytime wedding and they had everyone on the dancefloor. They played a nice mix of Spanish music too, which was good since FH's family is PR.
