Went to a wedding yesterday at the Bourne Mansion
And, it was great!
The place had such a rich feel to it. When we walked in they handed us champagne with strawberries. The cocktail hour was spread throughout 4 rooms. The food was delicious.
Here are the stations they had:
Seafood (shrimp cocktail, oysters, mussels)
Cheese, Meats and Fruits
Potato Station (I think it was mashed potatoes and all that stuff)
Pasta Station
The last station had seared tuna, osso bucco and pulled pork. Everything was delicious and my only complaint was that the pulled pork was salty.
They had a bunch of passed items and the service was amazing.
The Mansion was really pretty. The main room was very elegant. I had such a great time. For my main meal I had the Gorgonzola crust filet mignon. It was delicious!
I don't eat cake but I heard it was very good. And, they had the italian cookies on the table
The DJ was Absolute and they were really good too....everyone was up dancing the entire night.
My battery on my camera was dying. I wish I could have taken more pictures of the place because it was really nice. Here's the cake and centerpiece:
