Went to Eroxgirl's wedding!
I only have time to type a quick review because I have to go to work in a bit, BUT:
First of all, let me say that Rebecca looked FANTASTIC!!!!!!! She is normally and naturally beautiful, but she totally had that 'Bridal Glow'. She was calm and put together, and even when little things would not go exactly to plan (DJ playing a weird choice, hall not having Egg-free cake for egg-allergic DH to eat during cake ceremony), she took them in stride and didn't freak out. BTW, Rebecca, I only mention these things because I saw your initial reaction to them, not because I personally had issues or anything.
Eric, her DH, was an example of how a Groom should be on his Wedding day. He was glowing as much as she was, and was on the dance floor ALMOST as much as she was. Not only did he dance with her, but he danced with everyone else too! He even came over to us LIWeddings girls (Dawnie, AliasPook, Bethsiar and me) and danced with US! I wish my FH was such a host!![]()
Her flowers were by Burton's and they were gorgeous - I took home a centerpiece and it's in my living room. Rebecca, even though we are using different florists, I think we can still be friends!
Her DJ had the party dancing all day, when Westbury Manor's staff wasn't seating us for food.
WM was great, btw. Food was delicious. AliasPook and I both had Veal Portofino, Bethsiar had Filet Mignon, and Dawnie had Chicken Cordon Bleu. I think Beth and Dawn were happy - you girls can say for yourselves.
I know AliasPook and I enjoyed the veal.
All in all it was a beautiful wedding, fitting of the beautiful
and
!
