Went to FSIL's shower last night...

Is it bad that only after 6 glasses of wine could I tolerate the fact that she is going to be family? Is it rude that when she walked in she said hello to everyone at my table but me? Is it rude that when she came back to the table I happen to be sitting next to her neighbor who has the same name as me and FSIL looks at me and says, 'Antoinette your sitting next to my favorite Antoinette in the whole world'? Just asking All in all though I had a good time with my aunts and a family friend. Could've just been the wine too

ok...she's kinda rude!

Im sure there were other things but I drank so much wine I probably ignored it

you're a better person than me...drinking makes me spill my guts!! I already have 'no hair on my tongue' while I'm sober, imagine with a few glasses of wine!!!

Well we've already had words were I told her just what I though of her and the fact that she's marrying my brother but when it comes to public functions my father raised me to drown out people who aggrevate me so not to cause a scene. So out of respect for my dad I got drunk instead Just kidding tipsy.

omg - I am sooooo sorry. She sounds like she could be related to my FSIL. She closely looked at my e-ring and then someone else's and then said to her FH 'Make mine like Hers (pointing to the other girl's e-ring which was double the size of mine)'.

Why do people have to be some damn rude

Ur good, even though I am polite- I would have come back with quickies to make her look stupid- especially when Im drunk LOL. ah she is making herself look petty and stupid ignore the be- ach. youre a better person. hooray for you for not stooping to her level to give her something to talk about against you!!!

So true! She sounds like a sweet girl...

You guys are great I was begining to think I was the one being petty because I dont care for alot of things she says or does and my family warned me to behave myself before and after we got there and my brother is always making comments about how he knows I hate her, which I always reply true but I just figured she showed everyone what I've been pointing out for the last couple of years. She even told me one time that she knew my brother better then I did afterall shes lived with him for 3yrs. So I kindly told her that anytime she'd like to sit down and trade stories ask my brother and I'd be happy to do so.
