went to look at houses today RANT people are gross!!!

First off.. it was a new listing and our RA hadnt been there yet - so its not his fault and we didnt realize the school district when we said we would look at it (plus there were no inside pics to look at online)

the house wa sGROSS!!!! we should have realized when we pulled up that they dont clean. they still had summer party decorations hanging on their garage (and in the back were about 200 bottles of beer and etc laying around - prob still from the summer). we went inside and the living room and the dinning room were OKay... as we walked through the house you can tell that they didnt take pride in their house or cleaned it.. ever.

their were food and oil grease stains all over the kitchen. the rooms were congested with crap. we went down stairs and there was a room that just had stuff all over that you couldnt even walk in.

the house smelt so bad!!!!

but the kicker.. we went upstairs where they had their childrens bedrooms... its was nasty. the beds looked dirty the kids looked dirty and then there were cockroaches climbing the walls and toys on the floor. i wanted to run out of there screaming - but i didnt want to make a scene

Im am sorry.. how do you live like that? how do you expect someone to buy your house when it looks like that (and it was NOT cheap) that just skeeved me out.. i feel like i have bugs on me!!!!!

eewww---- my mom does real estate and she ALWAYS tells the client- CLEAN UP YOUR CRAAP~~! I feel bad for the kids!

That is horrible--I would never want my house to look like that. I really hope they don't expect to sell it if they don't clean up.

and the guy who lived there followed us around the whole time.. were we realyl going to steal soemthing? i didnt even want to walk on the floor i sure as heck didnt want to touch anything!!

OMG! That's awful! We went to see two open houses today too. I think some people have a lot of nerve asking for so much money especially when the house needs so much work! Another we saw was gorgeous and move in condition!

Nasty!!! I prob would have screamed! And said something out loud in front of the owner! LOL! I would have ran out of that house soo fast i would have been gone before they blinked! LOL!

I DEF. WOULD HAVE FREAKED OUT ON THE REAL ESTATE AGENT FOR NOT TELLING THEM TO GET IT TOGETHER BEFORE SHE BROUGHT CLIENTS THERE..........SHE IS DEF. LOOSING SALES BECUASE OF IT....I AM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO SEE THAT NASTYNESS BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME!

HAHAHA ....that's rancid. I once went to a house that had all the gems that you saw today, PLUS...there was feces floating in the toilet. I couldn't believe that people actually lived that way. It IS good for bargaining though!!!!!!

actually 2 houses we went to had the owner(s) there. but the first one the guy just left us alone to look at the house.

I know its disgusting and I dont understand why they leave such a mess when trying to sell a house. I'll look online at pics and the rooms will be such a mess and so cluttered, i can't even imagine how big the rooms are bc the clutter just takes away from it. You would think people would want to put up better pics of their home and especially to have people come over and look at it.

exactly... you would think that they would realize that if they want to get the best price for their house or EVEN sell it tha they would clean it up and declutter???

hahahahah you think that is bad?????? you have to go to the so called 'little neck mansion.' fm me if you want more info!!!!

We walked into the house and smelled gas b/c they used their oven as heat!!!!!

Then we walk upstairs and we open one of the bedrooms to see an old man NAKED, eating food, and watching tv. IT WAS SO GROSS!!!

We could not open the second bedroom because there was a dog barking and a sign outside that read 'beware of dog.'

Then, the attic had a bedroom with some lady living up there....and it was a mess and the lady clearly had some problems. felt sooooo bad for her

I will never forget that house....that is what makes looking for home so much fun
