Went to look at some RHs .. think I'm in LOVE!!

I am sooooo excitied girls!!!

I went to New Rochelle today to check out a few of the RHs along that strip.

First stop - The Surf Club ... I was in love with what I saw online the only thing I wasn't completely thrilled with was the red in the lobby, which in person I didn't mind at all, but regardless, he is renovating and doing a neautral ivory in there!! Ok, so I pull up..it looks GORGEOUS a stone drive way, the whole place is lit up..it just looked beautiful. I walked in the and it was stunning. There was a HUGE chandelier, marbles floors, huge staircase, it smelt so pretty, and there were candles and flowers everywhere...I was like instantly in love. The room was gorgeous and the cocktail hour overlooks the water and the beach!! It's everything I was looking for (crystal chandeliers, european/victoria feel, and the beach!) So I'm in love and I'm about 99% sure we are going to book we just want to go look at a few more places first..Oh and the BM was a sweetheart, we spent about an hour talking to him, he showed up pics of his family..def. felt a connection with him..and he said he'll work with me on $ :)

I'll give my review on the other places just to help other brides..they really all are pretty..but nothing compared to Surf Club in my eyes (but I know we all have diff taste)..

DavenPort Club - this place was pretty, but it didn't wow me..and I found the BM very odd..he almost seemed drunk..he gave me a little brochure with the menu and told me to make an appt for another time..he was pretty rude, I know he was waiting for a party..but something was still urking me about him..

Greentree Country Club - Had a party going on so I didnt go in...I might go back to see it

VIP Country Club - BEAUTIFUL, offers a lot,,nice BM, beautiful water fountain outside and the building is seperated so one whole side of the building is yours..this place really had a lot of nice stuff, but it had a diff look than what I was going for..but I would def. recommend it..

Beckwith Pointe - also had a party tonite, so I couldn't go into the room but the BM met with me and gave me a quick quote and a brochure with a DVD..from the pictures online they don't have a chandelier so I wasn't too mad that I couldn't see the place..but it seemed pretty nice from what I did see..

I am so excited about the Surf Club, I want to check out Lombardis On The Sound before I book, but I am pretty sure I will book with The Surf Club..I had a HUGE smile on my face the whole time I was there...

That's GREAT! I know someone who got married there and said it was AMAZING! I have been to VIP which is another place you looked at, and I like it there also.
