Went to look at West Sayville Country Club

It was OK

The building was SO much smaller in person. The ballroom had really low ceilings; FH is 6'7', so he was feeling a little claustrophobic. Plus, the dancefloor was in a separate room off the dining area and it was very small. I can't see how over 100 people would stand around and/or dance together. The menu was nice, nothing insane. They gave us a price of $85 pp which is good, but it just wasn't for us.

I just saw West Sayville Country Club today but I actually liked it a lot. The dance floor part doesn't bother me. Steve was very accomodating and I am having a very small wedding and he's ok with that. I am going to look at a few more places but when you are only having 50 people you are limited and WSCC views were so spectacular and it was nice to not be crammed into a little tiny restaurant that has no room to dance. I'm 95% sure I'll end up there. Now my search for cheap seat covers continues!

I am getting married at Coindre Hall and the dancefloor is in another room. We are having them put cocktail tables around so that you don't have to stand around and dance the entire time, but you can enjoy the fun.

I loved WSCC.. we had 105 people and it worked out great.. no one was crowded.. I acutally like the fact the dance floor is in a different room.. check out my review..

I am having my receptioin at WSCC and I LOVE it......it is so different than most of what we looked at out there...I can't wait to see more brides going to WSCC.....one of bm's went there for a wedding recently and said the service was great there...vey accomidating!

Have you tried White Plains Linens or The Finishing Touch? Those are two companies I have heard of during my search.
