Went to Sugar Magnolias & Roots, Flowers & Treasures!
So I think we have decided on a florist, just waiting for the proposal to come in the next few days!
Mom & I went to Sugar Magnolias on Wednesday, and Heidi was really nice and made a lot of beautiful suggestions, but she really doesn't like pink and my vision kind of included pink, although I was trying to let her give me her opinion first as the dress color is kind of difficult to coordinate with (it's iridescent and beautiful, but not straightforward!). I think she is also going to end up being more expensive. She was great though, and if anyone is looking for really romantic flowers and personal attention I would definitely recommend her!
Then we went to Roots, Flowers & Treasures in Port Jeff yesterday and met with Cori, who was also great. She just opened her own shop a year ago, although she has worked in other shops for a long time. I really got the feeling that she wanted to work with us to do whatever would make us happy, and her prices were much more reasonable. We're going to have all Peony bo-ks, which I love, and the rest of the flowers should be gorgeous too! She's also going to do some CP samples and email me pics since I live out of town, so I'm excited for that! Here's what my bo-k will look like (or the general idea at least!):
except mine will have some white peonies as well. The MOH/BM will have the 2 shades of pink but still all peonies. yay!
