Went to the bridal show

So I went to the show tonight and got through it in a little over an hour! Didn't stick around for the raffle, so I hope they didn't pick my number and then toss it!

Def. information overload, but I am glad I got to meet with some of the vendors that people have been recommending. I think I got info. from every vendor there!

Had fun.

YEah, I can't figure out how to pick a photog/videographer. There were SO many there!

They only called one raffle number and the girl was there. I d idn't stay for the TV thing bc I didn't bring FH.

I didn't win a damn thing

But it was good. I wished they'd had more dresses there, though!

Good now i don't feel bad about leaving early. I was hoping someone would win from the 1st number picked bc then I wouldn't have to wonder, could I have won? lol

A lot of Music and Photo people there. My tote is completely filled with brochures. Has to wait until I have a minute to myself. Might not be for a few weeks - but I'll look at it all eventually.

P.S. FH is walking around with the light-up necklace from the show LOL

wooo hooo that was fun.... and EXTREME info over load! lol.... i met with all the limo ppl cause that my next thing - i skipped all the music and photo/video....

i met a really nice DOC that i want to use if the budget allows....

i didnt win anything either

Was it Felicia? Cause everyone raves about her and I'd love to use her but I don't think I have the budget. I liked her a lot having met her.

AND LOL Phyillis, FH walking around with the light up necklace, that's hilarious.
I'm gonna drag FH to the kitchen table to have him go over ALL of that literature for places and packages and prices for photogs, limos, djs and videos... I'm gonna have my boxing gloves on when we do that cause I'm anticipating a fight. I'll have to have a fantastic dinner prepared for him that day, maybe it'll make things more amiable. But it shouldn't all be up to me! AAAAAH.

I went for like the last 45 minutes or so - I skipped everything I've already booked - that didn't leave me with much to look at. I got a little info but nothing too exciting. Oh well, maybe next time.

I remember when I first went to a showcase I took so many fliers and pamphlets, I was overwhelmed - I never booked anyone I saw at a showcase! lol They are a lot of fun to go to though!!

My fiance was upset he didn't win the tv.. I'm like the tv??!?! are you kidding? honeymoon!!! .. he was sulking lol

Yes it was fun tho, but you guys are right my head hurt with all the info!! I thought there would be more dresses there too!! They had like 10! Oh well I learned a lot and didnt win anything, oh wait I did, from the 80 prom table I won $5 off each ticket in my party!! YAY!! Oh anyone else want the DJ CHEF!?!? That looks soooo coool!!!!

The show was definitely overwhelming! Definitely got a lot of info! I wonder who won the free DJ and free DOC?!

I was hoping to get a phone call today since I left early.

Once you go to a few of them you will know how to handle them.

it also becomes easier when you have more stuff booked. I was only there for flowers and limos. I actually made an appointment with Camelot.

Photographers my advise go with who you fit with and who will give you amazing pictures. Also you can ask to see books of your venue or see if they have shot your venue HTH

I took three of my friends and let me tell you that was a BIG mistake. They thought they were helping but they made everything worse i was going to booths and my name was already written down and i couldn't ask any of my questions! They were even setting up appointments and my FH said not too many, it was a mess.

It really was overwhelming but totally worth going to. I was mainly there for flowers since thats the only thing i havent looked into just yet.

I cannot rave enough about Camelot Limos. I totally recomend them to anyone who still needs to book them. I already booked with them and when I passed their booth last night, Joe had stopped me and talked to me and then brought me out to the limos to show my MOH which one's we're getting. It's nice to know when someone remembers your face when they deal with hundreds of different people a day and only met you once.
