So I gave in and last second today I deceided to try on some dresses I've been eyeing, even though I have a desposit on a dress since last summer lolz..but lately I've been having second thoughts, so I said hey, why not? This is the only time I'll get to try on dresses..
I tried on Maggie dresses...The Victoriana, MonaLisa, Mary and another one that I didn't catch the name of..
I tried the Victoriana on first and its GORGEOUS ..the beading is AMAZING ... but I think the pickups were a little too much for my small frame (I'm only 4'11), something was just off when it was on me.. but my goodness is thats a GORGEOUSSSSSS dress..seriously its like 250x more beautiful in person ..when I first saw it I thought I was going to by it as soon as I tried it on but nope, I have to be UBER short..
Next dress the MonaLisa..LOVESSS almost EVERYTHING about this dress..the top was perfect I'm just not sure about the bottem again...this is my front runner right now though out of these ones
The Mary I didn't really care for at all on me, even though it's still a pretty dress there was nothing that really caught my eye..and the 4th dress I didnt like at all...
So I think my fav is still the one I have the deposit on....ahhh what am I gonna do? It's like I wish I could put the top of one dress with the bottem of another dress... why am I so picky?

It's ok to be picky!!! The good news is that your fave is still your original dress! I think if we all try on 100 dresses, we'll like 50 of them, but so long as we love the one we bought most, that's all we can hope for. There will always be another dress with elements you like better than another, but all the elements together (the whole package) is what matters. So, I love this type of bottom and this type of top, but I like my whole dress best, because it looks best on me. I love pickups too, but I'm short also and too much bottom is too much on me, but I LOVE THEM!!!

The best thing you can do is to STOP looking at dresses. There are so many beautiful wedding gowns out there...you are going to drive yourself crazy second guessing you choice. You must have picked your original dress out for a reason...have you considered going back and trying it on again? It might help you remeber why you picked it in the first place! Good Luck!

My FSIL actually did put the top of one on the bottom of another lol Demitrios...Im not sure if it was just her dress but maybe you should try those dresses

They are all beautiful dresses- I have seen thm often on other brides but at least you still love the first dress the most!

some stores can do that depending on the designer... my friend got her dress from kleinfelds and she had the designer put the top of one dress on the bottom of another ... the dresses where both the same desinger though

I am pretty sure they have to be the same designer for them to put the top of one and the bottom of the other. At least thats what they said on one of the Yes to the Dress episodes at Kleinfeld's....
