went to VYC last night :)
Just wanted to let all the Venetian brides know!! I attended an affair there last night - It was georgous! The food was excellent- the beef tenderloin was outrageous! The roast turkey and the chix marsala were a little dry, but I also waited a while to eat, so maybe they were just out too long. The presentation was stunning.
The staff was superb, waiters came around at dinner offering wine and they were all very polite. I might suggest, if you know your guests will want particular drinks, to inform the bar prior- several of my friends wanted drinks that the bartenders did not know how to make (i.e. Long Island iced tea, red devil) and they didn't seem to have a bar book- but other than that minor thing, everything was outstanding! I even noticed, their chairs are really pretty (hmm...do I have weddings on the brain?)
