Went to Wedding at Fox Hollow

I went to a wedding at the Fox Hollow this weekend....somewhat mixed reviews.

The cocktail hour food was AMAZING...they had everything including caviar, sushi, pasta stations & more.

Negative was the room (upstairs, long & narrow, next to the restaurant) was too small & so people were standing, holding plates. They then opened a large room with about 4 more tables but no one knew about this room and so most people stayed in the crowded room. The 2nd room didn't have any food, only a few tables and a bigger area.

The reception room (not sure of the name) was downstairs (next to the Briarwood?) it has the atrium ceiling and the garden feel to it. They had about 120 people or so and it just felt crowded. It was 12 to a table and the waitstaff seemed to have a hard time maneuvering in/out of the guests. Also the bar was in front of the dance floor so in order to get a drink you were just about on the dance floor. The staff seemed to have 2 tables each and our waiter had only come around twice all night asking what we had wanted to drink.

The food was Great.

Body Heat was their band & as usual top notch all around, although the dance floor was not crowded all night.

I think part of the factor was that it was a late night Friday wedding & people were beat.
