I had so much fun tonight! FH and I went to our reception hall tonight to go over all of our ceremony details. We picked out our menu, cake, table linens, etc. The woman we worked with, Kelly, was so nice, and everything went really smoothly! I'm so excited now that we have picked out all the details! It all feels so real now!!!
Just had to share this, cuz I thought it was funny. When we pulled up, one of their peacocks was roaming around in the parking lot. So of course I was the crazy lady who stopped my car in the middle of the parking lot trying to get pictures of it. FH was so embarassed, because people were watching us, but I didn't care! I got my picture! LOL
That's funny........I used to have a white peacock when I was little (and we had a bunch of males too - the colorful ones). My mom HATED it b/c it would poop all over the driveway!!! It mysteriously disappeared one day.....we always joke that my mom 'got rid of it' (if ya know what I mean)

You not the only one... I was driving up the driveway about three weeks ago and the blue peacock was out on the lawn with its feathers open and I never saw him/her before so I'm all excited and telling my FH (whom is on speaker phone) and I actually almost hit the landscape gentlemen who I sware jumped infront of my car... I was telling my banquet manager what happened and she said 'well we can replace the landscaper but not the peacock'

I love PEACOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!, lol. Awwwwwwww that is so exciting that you picked out everything and went over last minute details , good for you. I can not wait until I get to do that. Is there anything that you can share with the WM 08 brides as to what should we should look out for when picking out our menu, cake, details????? Is the person that does that your original BM or someone else? I bet the gardens looked amazing.
