went venue hunting

So Chris and I went to look at Georgio's, Atlantis and Mediterranean manor(very different I know lol)Well we got a price quote for both ( I don't have them in front of me) but they were basically all the same...actually Mediterranean manor was a little more! We decided were going with Georgio's because Atlantis was so close in price. If there was a huge difference I would have said lets just go here but it was SO close. We are going back in a week to discuss a date and payment!!!

How are you all doing?

exciting!!

We already have the RH, photographer/videographer, DJ and officiant. Next on the list is florists. Already have a few in mind based on suggestions, but probably won't schedule a time to see any of them for a while.

YEY!!!! I got a deal with the Dj because he is my friend and is charging us $600. were just deciding on center pieces,we have to get save the dates,and my friend is a Photographer.. thank god! lol. And what is RH?

RH is reception hall- we're getting married at Russo's On The Bay and the reception will be there as well.

Congrats on picking a venue! Thatched Cottage didn't do it for you guys huh? hehe

I only got as far as the venue myself! This summer I'm gonna start looking into everything else. Do you guys think it's too soon to look at dresses?

I was just about to ask that LOL... (if its to soon to look at dresses)

I have basically known forever I want to get married at Giorgio's :) And its not as expensive as I thought

I might start over the summer...it's early but it's the most fun part!

Ooohhh I'm going to a wedding in July at Giorgio's. It looks absolutely beautiful there!

I don't think it's too early to go dress shopping. go for it!

I've gone looking at dresses but mostly to get ideas and inspiration, I'm not going to order anything until this december which is about 13 months before my wedding. But if you know its the one they I'd say go for it lol

I went to a showcase at Atlantis but never got a quote. Do you happen to have the quote they gave you? I was also confused with where the cocktail hour and reception would be held, if you had to choose the aquarium itself or the ballroom. Any help you can offer would be great! Thanks :)
