so FH and i have been in contact with the deacon over the past few weeks because its been aproblem with FHs schedule for us to do pre-cana so he offered to do a one on one with us tonight and go over the focus test... he said we were a perfect match.. the lowest score we got on any of the sections was an 85% and it was over what the deacon called.. 'stupid questions' so our precana and foccus was about 2 hours and thats it were DONE!!
im so excited! just have to get marriage liscense and fill out the reading selections i cant believe how close we are!!!

YAHH I am glad it all worked out meg. YAH!! Did you work with Deacon Barry? We got 100% on that FOCCUS as well he told us we were very compatiable and Fh asked him if he could take the scores home to put on the fridge haha
Deacon Barry did FOCCUS with FH and I while he was home on leave. He was very accommodating. But our Deacon marrying us is Deacon George. He actually let us do precana privately with a couple we knew as well since FH was only home for 2 weeks before he left for Iraq and was only going to be home a week before the wedding.

that's really awesome. 85% is great. We had low percentages in the areas that addressed stuff like division of labor and roles....
we have pre-cana this month -- yay

yup catie deacon barry is marrying us and he did the precana and foccus with us.. hes awesome.. i feel like im sitting down with a guy ive known for my whole life.. im so happy we found him and hes the one that will be up there on our big day!!

Yah I kinda wish we had Deacon Barry who was marrying us. But I really do like Deacon George as well. And he knows our whole situation with the wedding (I know I told you before - just dont want to write it here bec of lurkers)
But anyway congrats on getting into St. Joes and everything. I am glad you did. I remember you talking about your horrible experince with that other church.
