Deb just called to tell me about their e-pic prep, for Thursday, at a local photographer. Their first scheduled e-pics with Thomas Paul, got rained out, and aren't rescheduled for a few months. So, she said she's wearing a teal sweater, black pants, and Fred will be wearing a short sleeve black sweater top, with a long sleeve teal striped white shirt over top. Re: To her flower vendor, April Flowers, remember when I posted they would do the sample in silk?? Debi was confused!! The sample will definitely be real, with her seashells; The silk, applies to the flowers provided for an inside arch, at CLM, should it rain. Otherwise real flowers on the gazebo outside. Mary MOB

Christine, my wagon's been dragging!!! Maybe I'll get into gear this next week!! My beta blocker was recently doubled, for tachycardia and blood pressure, and it makes me soooo sleepy!! Also just found out my cholesterol is 299, so the Dr. wants me on Pravastatin, which I don't look forward to, because I've been on Simvastatin, and Lipitor, and my body started to get really sore, which is a side effect, and statin drugs can make you forgetful, which happened to me twice, when I was on Simvistatin; One day, I parked my car, in the driveway, and forgot to turn it off!!! That scared me!! I thought, 'What just happened here??' Later, I was reading Dr. Gott's column in the paper, and discovered statin drugs can make one forgetful. We want to check a store called Doneckers, in Ephrata, not far from us. Otherwise, I guess we'll have to go to King of Prussia Mall, about an hour away. I think my lack of motivation, is partly physical and is also because I've been to three Bridal Shops locally, plus XO Bridal, at King of Prussia, and I didn't care for anything I saw, so I've been conditioned to think I won't find my dress, in my color, at my price. Christine, I need a hug!! I'm near tears writing this, because I'm weary of diabetes, and feeling like a guinea pig, trying all these meds which cause side effects, I can't handle. I asked the nurse today, what quality of life is it, if the beta blocker causes me to be sleepy with no energy and the statin med makes me sore??????? Sorry, hon!! Thanks for asking!! Mary MOB

Awww, Mary. Is the Beta increase a permanent thing or just temporary? Has your Dr been able to recommend any dietary changes that may alleviate the symptoms you are experiencing? I know my ex's mother used to take garlic supplements and ginkgo biloba to help with her memory. But of course, with that combo of meds you want to double-check before you add anything to your diet.
As far as your dress goes: do not let it upset you. You just haven't found 'it' yet. I'm not familiar with KOP mall, other than the fact that it used to be the biggest mall in America. Try to think of it as a special outing for you and Debi, a trip to the mall, a nice lunch, some decadent coffee and drink, and oh yeah, a dress.

Sweetie pie, you're the bestest!! I don't know how long I'll be on the beta blocker, but if it lowers my B/P and heart rate, it will probably be forever, unless I feel I can't take feeling that way anymore. Thanks Christine!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB
