Were u married @ Atlantica??

Hey everyone....this is my first post!!!
Im very excited to be here.....ive been checkin this site out for over a year, since we were unsure of when we were getting married...but its finally happening. I will be booking Atlantica tomorrow for an April '08 wedding!!! I just have 1 question (for now) for Past-Atlantica brides...
How is the view w/the tent up??? Im very worried about not having a view w/that tent in the way...I have moved to NC and am booking Atlantica based on website pics, and my parents pics (who kindly took the trip out there for me). I am probably getting married there as well, but they say that the tent is 'scheduled' to be up that weekend and cannot be taken down. Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!

I went to a wedding there a few years ago....it was so foggy we couldn't see anything but I do remember being able to see outside easily (there was just nothing to actually see that day ) My favorite part was that the room was soooo pretty at night....they light candles & place them in the windows....so romantic looking. I actually attended a wedding at the Atlantica yesterday. It was a bit windy and chilly yesterday so the tent was set up. It did block the view a little bit but you still got the effect. It is beautiful there especially when it gets dark and the lighting changes in the reception room. The only thing I noticed was that the tent made alot of noise due to the wind. They had their ceremony there and once it was quiet all you heard was the tent swaying with the wind and the bolts that held it together. Once cocktail hr was held though you got used to it and werent able to notice it anymore. Overall, we had a great time at the wedding !
