Re: West Lake Inn

I,ve never been to an affair there but they're caterer (Lovin Oven) is fabulous.

Based on their other locations, I would guess its lovely inside. It just doesn't have the grounds or views of the others.

Re: West Lake Inn

WE had our wedding there and it was WONDERFUL!!! The food, service, all was incredible!! They do not have any grounds like the other lovin' Oven places, but that wasnt inportant to us. We took pictures at Bayard Arboritum before hand.

The best part about West Lake Inn is that you get the wonderful food that Lovin' Oven is known for but for less the price! We had about 175 people there are it was perfect. The room can hold a lot more and I was afraid that it was going to look too big but not at all!!

We dealt with Pat the whole time and she was a doll. She called me almost every day 2 weeks before we got married to make sure I was doing well. EVERYONE that came to our wedding commented ow good the food was...and how much you got!! The cocktail hour was incredible. The food just kept coming!

If you look on thier website you can see pictures of the place, there is a beautiful staircase as you walk in that brings you up to the bridal suite! It is huge and if you have enough people then you can use that also for your cocktain hour, there are couchs and tables and chairs up there as well as a bathroom!!

I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that is loking for a beautiful place to have a wedding but not break the bank!

Good Luck and let me know if you have any other questions!

Lisa

Re: West Lake Inn

I've been to a party there, not a wedding. But the food was good, and the place is nice. We looked there for our wedding, because they are lovin oven caterers too. The room was way too big for us. But Pat the woman who works there is amazing. I would make an appointment with her.

Re: West Lake Inn

Do they only have one large room, or smaller rooms also?

Re: West Lake Inn

I had my reunion there last year. It was great. The cocktail hour was held in the room on the left which was a smaller room and on the right was the reunion. It had a great big dance floor. The food was terrific. The desserts were incredible. The bathroom was nice too. (I always check out the restrooms.)
