I saw some reasonable priced houses near the Wantagh Parkway (Hicksville Road and Brush Hollow Road). I think it may not be the best area but I am not sure.
Anyone know? How is the school district?

salisbury park is a nice area. not familar w/ the other areas of westbury. depending on where the house is located, the district is either westbury or east meadow.
ETA: east meadow SD is more desireable then westbury

i would try to stay away from the brush hollow road area, it sounds a lot like the new cassel area, and if your comfortable with lots of crime then that's a perfect area for you. salisbursy is an expensive area but the school district is good. i live in westbury but i'm in the carle place sd. most homes start around 450 and up here. what is your price range?
eta: do not get any houses with westbury sd, unless you decide to send your child to catholic school.
